This page describes who we are and what we are doing.

Why do we think you should read this info?

Because we are not selfish and we wish to share what we know.

So you might ask, what the hell are they talking about?!?!?

Well, we are a group of dutch guys (no girls yet) who like to play a Half-Life Modification called ‘Counter-Strike : A Counter-Terrorism Half-Life Modification’.

In the scene in which we operate this is called a ‘clan’. We, as a clan, like to play this Half-Life modification which is known in the scene as CS (Counter-Strike).

So what is CS exactly??? Lets ask the authors of this modification!!!!

Counter-Strike is a modification (MOD) to the excellent game, Half-Life. It modifies the multiplayer aspects of Half-Life to bring to it a more team-oriented gameplay. Not terribly unlike Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike provides the player with an experience that a trained counter-terrorist unit or terrorist unit experiences.

As you might have read, CS is a multi-player/team-oriented game, based on Terrorists and Counter-Terrorists theme, which should be played on the Internet or on a LAN. The first is preferrable because you meet people you would otherwise have not met.

So it’s all about teamplay. Teamplay is very important in this game. What would you prefer : to attack a group of enemies alone or with a team??? I bet you will choose the latter one! I have seen guys trying to oppose 5+ enemies and die without killing any enemy. If you are very good you might kill 2 enemies before you are pushing up daisy’s yourself.

This is why we joined forces and formed a clan. Our clan-name is STK and we can be recognized by the prefix [STK] of our alias.

Now you know what we play, but you do not know who we are.....

In the beginning of our clan-history we were known and feared (cough) as [DoD], but we changed [DoD] in [*STK*] because this clan-name was already taken and this name was connected to some serious cheating. There is one thing CS-players hate and that is cheating (and getting shot, but hey who isn’t).

[*STK*] stands for : Shoot To Kill. That’s what we do.. Shoot to kill. Preferrably you if you are in our way.

At this moment our clan consists of 7 clan-members :

In real-life we are students, system- network administrators.

We won’t tell you our real names, because we must stay anonymous to avoid revenge of our foes. J
